Revitalizing Mitochondria - Nutritional Support and Labs

Join LIVE on February 22nd at 3:00pm PST

Whether patients are combating complex health challenges or trying to improve overall wellness, everyone wants more energy.

And they want to feel more alive – not just awake or alert. But when their health is out of balance, energy and vitality are the first thing to go.

So the question is, as practitioners, how can you support your patients’ energy levels?

In this episode of Protocols in Action, Dr. Taylor Krick joins me to zero in on the heart of the solution: cellular health and mitochondria.

As a functional medicine practitioner at his clinic, Washington Wellness Center and host of The Autoimmune Doc Podcast, Dr. Krick has a wealth of insights and knowledge, focusing on the underlying mechanisms of why patients are struggling with their health.

And when it comes to energy, mitochondrial health is the central issue for everyone. But how can you accurately determine what is going on with patients? What is it exactly that is impacting their vitality, sleep, mood, and their ability to focus? From there, what protocols are most effective in helping patients reclaim their vitality?

Dr. Krick and I will go in-depth on all this and more, discussing his strategies for supporting energy at the cellular level and his approach to selecting the most accurate labs. Together, we’ll explore his protocols and share with you how he’s helped his patients gain back the energy they want and need.

Join our LIVE podcast on February 22 at 3pm PT, for Protocols in Action: Revitalizing Mitochondria – Nutritional Support and Labs.

Speaker Biographies

Dr. Taylor Krick BSc, DC

After graduating Dr. Taylor and his wife moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to open their first wellness clinic, Align Utah. During the almost 6 years He owned Align Utah he provided care for professional skiers, National Champion weight-lifters, and helped thousands of people take control of their health – including patients losing 100’s of pounds, getting off dozens of medications, reversing chronic diseases like diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, heart failure, thyroid disease, and more. In Dr. Taylor’s final year of owning the clinic, Align Utah was voted the Best of Utah in Alternative Medicine.

Dr. Taylor and his wife moved (home) to Illinois in 2018 to be closer to family and provide holistic resources for alternative healthcare in Central Illinois. They are thrilled to be back! Dr. Taylor practices Functional Medicine, which takes a root cause approach to any health concern. Medications can support symptoms – high blood pressure, high blood sugar, low thyroid hormone, indigestion/heartburn/reflux – but they never address the root cause. Dr. Taylor is an expert on lab interpretation, immunology, and metabolism, and loves teaching his patients to understand their condition. His favorite symptoms to help are fatigue, anxiety, bloating… and all others, but he also REALLY loves very complex and puzzling cases.
